Jazz Blues is essentially a more complicated version of the 12 BAR Blues. In Jazz Blues we usually don’t use riffs like are common in the basic blues songs. Rather we just strum the seventh chords. Again you should start by looking at the Formula for the song which you can see here below. Please check out my page on the Major Scale if you’re not sure about this formula/numbering thing. There are of course different types or variations of the Jazz Blues Format but you can use this Formula as an reference or Arch-type.
